LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed a bullish trend by gaining 91.83 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4434.48 and closed at 4526.31 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 6.410 million shares to close against previous turnover of 7.442 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.031 million shares.
While, out of the total 110 active scrips, 51 moved up, 54 remained equal with 5 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.25, Rs 12.88 and Rs 8.88, respectively.
Askari Bank Limited, Faysal Bank Limited and Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.16, Re 0.15 and Re 0.14 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R) with 1.538 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.005 million shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement Limited with 740,500 shares.
