LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Thursday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 31.33 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4026.05 and closed at 4057.38 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.761 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.385 million shares, showing an upward move of 375,500 shares. While, out of the total 96 active scrips, 31 moved up, 58 remained equal with 7 down values.
Nishat Mills Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Adamjee Insurance Company were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.85, Rs 3.56 and Rs 3.45 respectively.
Askari Bank Limited, Byco Petroleum Pakistan and Pakistan International Airline lost their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 0.17 and Re 0.14 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 759,000 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 399,000 shares and National Bank of Pakistan with 365,000 share.
