MADRID: Spain's Treasury Secretary Inigo Fernandez de Mesa said on Monday he does not rule out a new foreign currency bond issue, specifically in dollars.
Spain sold $2 billion of dollar-denominated debt Feb. 20, its first offering in the US currency since September 2009, taking advantage of benign markets to diversify its debt and reduce dependence on domestic investors.
