German 2012 oil products sales down 0.8pc

FRANKFURT: German oil products sales in 2012 were down 0.8 percent at 108.4 million tonnes year-on-year compared with 2011, the economic and foreign trade statistics office BAFA said on Monday.

BAFA in a statement listed the following totals for the two years for a list of the main six products which together add up to just under 100 million tonnes.

It also said that exports of oil products increased by 4.8 percent to 18.9 million tonnes, and that imports decreased by 5.5 percent to 31.2 million tonnes.

BAFA has reported separately that the import of crude oil into Germany rose 3.2 percent to 93.4 million tonnes last year.
