LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 11.56 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4183.70 and closed at 4195.26 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 5.005 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.872 million shares, showing a downward slide of 866,600 shares. While, out of the total 105 active scrips, 31 moved up, 25 shed values and 49 remained equal.
Engro Corporation Limited, Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) and Fauji Fertilizer Company were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.55, Re 1.00 and Re 0.79 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank, National Bank of Pakistan and Nishat (Chunian) Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.67, Re 0.75 and Re 0.75 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 898,000 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 798,000 shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 583,000 shares.
