PARIS: France will sell between 7 billion and 8.5 billion euros in medium-term debt at auction on June 21, as well as inflation-linked bonds, debt management agency Agence France Tresor said on Friday.
On offer will be the 0.75 percent note, also known as a BTAN, maturing in September 2014, the 2.00 percent BTAN due in July 2015, the 2.25 percent BTAN due in February 2016 and the 1.75 percent note due in February 2017.
Also to be auctioned are inflation-linked bonds: two tied to euro-zone inflation that mature in July 2022 and July 2027, and another linked to France's inflation rate that comes due in July 2023.
