Precautionary lockdown enters third day in Peshawar

Precautionary lockdown to prevent outbreak coronavirus continued for third consecutive day, here Wednesday. However groceries, pharmacies and fruit and vegetable shops remained open to provide essential items to people.

Precautionary lockdown to prevent outbreak coronavirus continued for third consecutive day, here Wednesday. However groceries, pharmacies and fruit and vegetable shops remained open to provide essential items to people.
Major commercial centres, shopping malls and restaurants inside the city have been closed since last five days while routine business activities in all busy bazaars of the provincial capital, including Hashtnagri, Faqirbabad, Meena Bazaar, Shaheen Bazaar, Jhanda Bazar, Kisa Khwani, Khyber Bazaar, Kohat Gate, Sarki Gate, Phando Road, Dalazak Road, G.T.Road, University Road, Board Bazar, Hayatabad, Saddar Road and Karkhano market entered into fourth day.
Both inter and intra-districts transport has been closed not only in Peshawar rather across the province. The closure of the markets and shopping malls has been closed till March 28.
