KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 19,583.21 points with a negative change of -78.21 and volume of 148,267,200 shares. High and Low were 19,788.15 and 19,520.59 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 265,966,053 shares. Total companies traded were 366 of which 155 were positive, 191 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 68,207,000 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 30,421,600 shares.
