KARACHI: A ban on pillion riding in the metropolis has been once again challenged in the Sindh High Court (SHC).
In petition, Rana Faizul Hasan, a human rights activist, making Sindh Home Department as respondent submitted that people are facing hardship due to ban on pillion riding by the Sindh government.
He submitted that the petition was a public interest litigation as due to ban on pillion riding, fundamental rights of the people were being affected.
He prayed the court to declare ban on pillion riding as unlawful and direct the government to lift the ban immediately.
