Police arrest 25 accused from various areas of city

KARACHI: Karachi police in their drive against criminals, arrested 25 accused from various areas of the city during the past 24 hours.

A statement on Monday said that those arrested included absconders and proclaimed offenders.

During the period the police claimed that three gangs of criminals were busted and that six encounters with the alleged criminals took place.

As many as 17 pistols, two daggers and three mobile phones were also recovered from the possession of the accused.

The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
