KPT officials said that a vessel developed some technical fault. As a result, it crashed into another tanker which was stationed at the birth.
They said an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the exact nature of the collision.
Last year, 19 containers fell into the sea after a vessel collided with a tanker at Karachi Port.
