Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Lahore has moved an application to the district administration Lahore seeking permission to hold rally in Lahore on October 27, to express solidarity with the Kashmiris facing Indian atrocities.

The PML-N Lahore Secretary General Khawaja Imran Nazir has submitted application to the deputy commissioner Lahore stating that the PML-N will hold rally from Alhamra Hall to Chairing Cross. The PML-N senior leaders will address.

It may be added that the PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif while announcing to participate in the JUI-F's March, said the PML-N's participation will consolidate our power; October 27 is a Kashmir Solidarity Day; our caravans will leave on October 27 from across the country and reach Islamabad on Oct 31 for a final showdown.

"We will express solidarity and harmony with the Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir on October 27, by observing Black Day, PML-N senior leader Mohammad Pervaiz Malik, said.

Moreover, talking with the women lawyers wing of the PML-N, here on Saturday PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal said the PML-N will take out rallies on October 27 to express solidarity with Kashmiris.

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai met Ahsan Iqbal and discussed the country's political situation. Views were also exchanged on JUI-F's Azadi March. Both demanded fresh general elections in the country.

Ahsan Iqbal said on the occasion that the PML-N will fully support JUI-F's Azadi March. He said that PM Imran Khan has ruined the country's economy and the government's incompetence can be seen in the polio programme too.

He demanded immediate resignation of the premier in order to hold talks with the government team.

He strongly denounced the decision to keep former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in death cell of the prison.
