BAHAWALPUR: The Revenue Department has collected taxes of Rs1.92 billion from the division during the first quarter of the year which is 71 per cent of the total set target.
This was disclosed in a meeting of revenue officers chaired by Member Judicial Board of Revenue Capt Jahanzaib Khan (R) on Wednesday.
Official sources told APP that the meeting was informed that Rs441.3 million were recovered as Stamp Duty, Rs160 million as Registration Fee, Rs93.1 million as Capital Value Tax, Rs700 million as Transfer Fee, Rs429.8 million as Water Tax and Rs.101.3 million as Agriculture Tax.
The Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Khan Khichi and other officers also attended the meeting.
