PARIS: Farm office France AgriMer on Wednesday cut its forecast of French 2011-12 soft wheat ending stocks, reflecting an increased export outlook, data released on the office's website showed.
The office lowered its forecast of soft wheat stocks at the end of the current 2011-12 season to 2.1 million tonnes against 2.4 million seen last month. This was still down 28.8 pct on stocks at the end of 2010-11.
FranceAgriMer raised its forecast of French soft wheat exports outside the European Union this season to 9.0 million tonnes, against 8.8 million seen last month.
The latest forecast was down 30.2 percent on a record 12.9 million tonnes of exports estimated for last season.
The office also increased its projection of French soft wheat exports within the EU to 6.9 million tonnes against 6.7 million forecast in March.
