KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 16,967.59 points with a negative change of -230.51 and volume of 58,305,500 shares. High and Low were 17,198.91 and 16,923.58 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 9 were up, 21 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 104,764,940 shares. Total companies traded were 362 of which 130 were positive, 212 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 15,743,000 shares. It was followed by Oil and Gas Marketing Companies with a total traded volume of 13,116,200 shares.
