Christian community celebrates Easter

KARACHI: Christian community like other parts of the country celebrated Easter with traditional festivity here on Sunday.

The Christians begin their Easter day with special services in the churches.

A large number of the community members including women, children and elders gathered at St. Andrew Church and attended the services with religious zeal and also prayed for safety and security of the country.

Sweets and flowers were also distributed on the occasion. Candles

were also lit to mark the festival.
