KARACHI: Gold price surged by Rs214 to Rs48,728 per 10 grams in the local market Saturday as its international price improved to $1,637 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 250 at Rs56,850.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs908.57 per 10 grams.
