DUBAI: Egypt's state grains buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said it bought 350,000 tonnes of wheat on Tuesday at an international purchase tender for the grain.
The purchase comprised 230,000 tonnes of Russian wheat, 60,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat and 60,000 tonnes of French wheat, traders said.
The state buyer had been seeking an unspecified quantity of wheat for shipment Oct. 1-10.
