BRASILIA: Brazil is working for emerging economic powers to jointly support a candidate for the presidency of the World Bank, Finance Minister Guido Mantega said on Thursday.
Mantega met earlier on Thursday with the US nominee for the top post Jim Yong Kim.
He said he was working with other members of the BRICs grop, which besides Brazil includes China, Russia, India and South Africa.
