Production order: Registrar Office to fix case in open court

ISLAMABAD: The Registrar Office of the Supreme Court was ordered to fix the case related to issuance of production order by Speaker National Assembly in the open court.

Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh on Monday heard Asif Nawaz appeal against the objections of Registrar Office on his petition in the Chambers.

The petitioner Asif Nawaz has challenged the issuance of production orders by National Assembly Speaker of the MNAs against whom National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references/inquires regarding corruption charges are pending.

Many NAB references against the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party are pending in the Accountability Courts.
