Afghan President telephones PM

ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Hamid Karzai telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday and expressed his concern over the emergency landing of his plane at the Islamabad Airport yesterday, soon after its take-off for Sakhar.

The Afghan President also extended invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Kabul as the weather has become considerably pleasant.

The Prime Minister accepted the invitation and said that he would soon visit Afghan Capital."We would also review the progress made toward political reconciliation in the context of the last bilateral meeting held in Islamabad," the Prime Minister said.
