Ukrainian wheat is lowest offer in Egypt's GASC tender

CAIRO: The lowest offer for wheat at an Egyptian state purchase tender was $198.70 per tonne for 55,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat, traders said on Tuesday

The offer was presented by Hakan.

Egypt, the world's largest wheat buyer, said on Monday it was seeking an unspecified quantity of wheat for shipment on Sept. 5-15.

Results of the tender, carried out by state buyer the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), are expected later on Tuesday.
