RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 17,611.72 points with a positive change of 175.43 and volume of 75,205,300 shares. High and Low were 17,637.73 and 17,416.69 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 4 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 97,118,100 shares. Total companies traded were 318 of which 178 were positive, 110 were negative and 30 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,860,400 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 12,759,500 shares.
