KARACHI: Gold improved by Rs 172 to Rs 49,457 per 10 grams in the local market Monday as its international price increased to $ 1,656 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs 200 at Rs 57,700.
Silver closed lower at Rs 925.71 per 10 grams.
