Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port Qasim on Friday, March 16, 2012, carrying containers at QICT.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 43% at the Port on Saturday where a total of four ships namely, M.V Sea Gulld M.V Hiba Al Nour, M.V New Dehli Express, M.T Harsanadi, M.V Mercy Wisdom, M.V Ikan Byan, are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, wheat, canola seed was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 30204 tonnes comprising 20380 tonnes import 9824 tonnes export 990 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

No departure on Friday.
