Ishaq Dar made new Leader of the Opposition in Senate

ishaq-dar_400ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari has declared Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar of Pakistan Muslim League (N) new Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.

According to Senate Secretariat, Ishaq Dar has the support of 14 Senators belonging to PML-N, 2 Independent members one each from Punjab and Balochistan besides 7 JUI-F Senators.

Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar was re- elected unopposed on technocrat seat from Punjab in recently held Senate elections.
