SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up 0.31 percent in early trade Wednesday after strong gains on Wall Street overnight on the back of positive economic data, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, rose 7.56 points to 2,463.35.
