ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Essa Abdullah Al Basha Al Noaimi called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar here on Monday to deliver a letter from the Foreign Minister of UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Foreign Minister and the Ambassador discussed regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar expressed satisfaction over outcome of the 10th session of the Pak-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) which was held in Abu Dhabi last month.
She expressed the hope that the in-depth deliberations held at the JMC would further help deepen bilateral economic and commercial cooperation, adding that Pakistan offered enormous opportunities for foreign investment in diverse areas.
The Foreign Minister said that the UAE was Pakistan's strong and valuable partner, and that the brotherly relations between the two countries were bound to strengthen in the times to come.
