UNITED NATIONS: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday implicitly called on Russia and China to back the Arab League approach to resolving the humanitarian and political crisis in Syria.
"We believe that now is the time for all nations, even those who have previously blocked our efforts, to stand behind the humanitarian and political approach spelled out by the Arab League," Clinton told the UN Security Council.
