Altaf Hussain condemns Peshawar blast
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast in a funeral in Badaber area located on the outskirts of Peshawar.
He expressed his grief on the deaths and wounding of several people in the blast that went off after the funeral prayer had finished near a graveyard, said a statement issued by MQM on Sunday.
Altaf Hussain said that the terrorists carrying out such blast were working to harm the integrity of the country, and they wanted to create instability and chaos.
Altaf Hussain expressed sympathies to the bereaved families whose relatives died in the attack and prayed for the early recovery and good health of the people injured in the attack.
Altaf called upon the government to take notice of the incident and bring the perpetrators to book.
