ISLAMABAD: The Met office Monday forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country, while very hot in South Punjab and Sindh during next 24 hours. However, dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Quetta, Zhob, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, D.G.Khan divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir during evening/night.
According to the synoptic situations, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country.
Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, D.G.Khan divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.

Punjab: Bahawalpur 10, Noorporthal, Sahiwal, Narowal 09, Chakwal 06, Joharabad 05, Islamabad (ZP, AP 03, Golra 02, Bokra 01), Toba Tek Singh 03, Layyah, Sargodha 01, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: D.I.Khan 02, Kashmir: Rawalakot 02, Garidupatta 01.
Today's Highest Maximum Temperatures were recorded as follow:
Sh. Benazirabad 44 C, Mithi 43 C, Padidan, Chhor 42 C,,Islambad 32 C, Peshawar 34C and Lahore 35C.
