ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a surprise visit to “Panagah” (shelter home) near Pirwadahi on the occasion of holy night of Shab-e-Miraj Wednesday and reviewed the facilities available for the people there.
He inquired about the facilities from the people present at the Panagah and expressed satisfaction.
The Prime Minister said since feeding the homeless and poor was the responsibility of state, the PTI government, which very much had this basic point on its agenda, would do all to look after the poor people.
He said that more shelter homes would be established in the country, besides the expansion of existing ones, so as to facilitate maximum people.
The Prime Minister also described as “encouraging” the cooperation of philanthropists in the construction of shelter homes.
