Suhail Mehmood to be new foreign secretary: Qureshi  

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Sunday said that Suhail Mehmood would be a foreign secretary after retirement of Tehmina Janjua.

Talking to the media here, he appreciated the services of Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and said she was a very committed, sincere and patriotic officer. She served the country amicably and the foreign office acknowledged her remarkable services, he added.

The foreign minister informed that Pakistan's High Commissioner to Dehli Suhail Mehmood would be the new foreign secretary. He added that Suhail Mehmood had great experience in foreign affairs as he had also served as ambassadors to Turkey and Thailand.
