ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to submit report on Al-khair University.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the case regarding unavailability of jobs for Al-Khair University students.
The court directed the HEC to submit report on Al-Khair University's history, charter, accounts and details of faculty.
Justice Gulzar remarked that Alkhair University destroyed the future of students.
He asked if the university was belonged to Azad Kashmir than why its students were finding jobs in Pakistan.
The counsel for Alkhair University said Alkhair University was affiliated with HEC. Justice Gulzar remarked that Alkhair University distributed degrees according to students wish.
Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan asked what was the speciality of the university that a person belonged to Khairpur Sindh got admission in the Alkhair University and obtained degree in Arabic language.
Justice Ijaz asked whether a common man did not know how to bought a degree. A common man purchased degrees and said that it is verified from HEC.
