LONDON: London stocks nudged lower at the open on Tuesday, before a vital vote on British Prime Minister Theresa May's revised Brexit deal.
In initial deals, the capital's benchmark FTSE 100 index was marginally lower at 7,128.24 points, compared with Monday's closing level.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index rose 0.6 percent to 11,612.46 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.5 percent to 5,290.94.
