DI KHAN: Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Faisal Kairm Kundi said on Wednesday the historic and traditional cattle show of DI Khan would be held on March 13-15 in Kulachi stadium to promote the soft image and culture of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
Terming the show as positive endeavour, the deputy speaker told media persons at his residence here that a large number of people from across the province and country will participate in the event.
The children will also perform PT show besides competition of horse ridding, tug of war, dog race and others functions. The Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa has been requested to inaugurate the show.
He said the Prime Minister would soon convene a high level meeting regarding Chesma Right Lift Bank Canal project, adding a letter has been sent to Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa regarding allocation of 50 percent funds each by federal and provincial governments for initiation of work on this mega project.
He said Chesma Right Lift Canal project would change destiny of people and will give boost to agriculture sector in southern districts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
He informed that he would soon hold a meeting with country head of World Bank for construction of Cheshma Right Bank Lift Canal.
