Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh paid surprise visit to fruit & vegetable market during the wee hour of Saturday and monitored the prices of fruits and vegetables. During the visit, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Headquarters, Qaiser Khan Kundi, Assistant Food Controller, Khalid Khan, Food Inspector, Bilal and Gardawar Waqif Khan given him detailed briefing regarding bidding process in the market.
He visited different parts of the markets and after monitoring bidding of vegetables and fruits issued official price list under his own supervision. On this occasion, general public and business merchants also met the Deputy Commissioner and briefed him regarding bidding process and gave suggestions for binging further improvement in this regard.
