All-rounder Shoaib Malik is eyeing to play the 2020 World Twenty20 before saying goodbye to the limited overs cricket. Shoaib who retired from Test cricket at the end of 2015 believe that consistency would be required to play the 2020 World Cup. "The 2019 World Cup, 50-over cricket, is my last World Cup, but I want to play in the World T20 in 2020, that is my goal for Twenty20 cricket," Malik said in a statement.
He said, "These are the two big goals which I'm looking at - let's see how it goes. If I'm consistently performing then I want to play these two World Cups." Malik who is a middle order batsman and also bowls off-spin played 35 tests for Pakistan and has represented the team in 261 one-day internationals and 95 Twenty20 matches. He is also playing for different leagues.
