Indian forces using chemical weapons against IHK people, says AJK PM
Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Raja Farooq Haider Khan has stated that the Indian security forces are using chemical weapons against the people of the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK). He made these comments during his visit to the office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC). He said that there are evidences that Indian forces deployed in Kashmir have been using weapons containing chemical agents in Kashmir.
"We demand an independent investigation into the alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians in Indian-held Kashmir and gross violation of human rights of Kashmiri people by Indian forces," Haider said. Paying glowing tributes to Yaseen Malik, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Shabir Ahamed Shah and others, he said Kashmiri leaders have lived most of their lives behind bars, fighting for their right to self-determination.
Terming Kashmiri people's struggle as a 'struggle to complete Pakistan', he said India cannot erode Kashmiris' love for Pakistan with coercion and oppression. He alleged that use of chemical weapons is worst kind of persecution that put the lives of entire population in danger.
The AJK PM assured the Hurriyat leadership that reinforcing Kashmir liberation struggle would remain the top priority of AJK government and all available resources would be utilized for this purpose. The government in the base camp of Kashmir liberation struggle would consult Hurriyat leaders in matters relating to Kashmir freedom movement. The Prime Minister also assured that problems being faced by the refugees from occupied part of Kashmir would be solved on priority basis.
The AJ&K PM said that the Indian Premier Narendra Modi is trying to increase his vote bank by shedding the blood of innocent Kashmiris. He alleged the BJP government of whipping up 'jingoistic frenzy' to get political mileage in India.
