Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Wednesday said that human resource and youth development are vital for sustainable development and we must invest as much as possible in this connection. He said this while talking to the DFID Director for Pakistan Joanna Reid, here on Wednesday. Matters of mutual interest and current projects were discussed. Municipal services and other sectors also came under discussion.
Hamza Shahbaz maintained that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken a number of steps for equal development in the society and due to correct policies strengthening of infrastructure has been attained. He added that revolutionary changes have been brought in the education sector which would help provide education to the maximum.
Joanna Reid said on the occasion that positive signs of policies of Shahbaz Sharif can be witnessed and the DFID also admired his vision. She also briefed Hamza Shahbaz on the developmental projects launched with the cooperation of DFID and assured all-out cooperation in future.
