Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said we are liable to public service and rather than hollow slogans, government of PML-N believes in practical measures. We have served the people whole heartedly and maintaining peace, end of energy crisis and setting country on the road of development are the bright examples of our public service.
He said he is monitoring the headway of development projects personally as his every breath is dedicated to the country and he has given his blood to serve the public. The voyage of public service has been moved forward swiftly despite obstacles.
The CM was talking to a group of assembly members of PML-N here on Sunday. He said the era of PML-N is the period of transparency, service and patriotism and the progress country has made in last four and a half years could not be seen in the past. The project like Metro-bus Service and Orange Line Metro Train are the evident examples of spending resources on the public. In contrast to the past, PML-N has completed the projects speedily and we are moving toward our destination of a prosperous, peaceful, developed and bright Pakistan. Projects of public welfare are being completed with transparency, quality and speed.
He said despite of all the barriers, we have moved forward the journey of country's development and prosperity of people rapidly. He assured that the agenda of development and prosperity will continue to grow onward.
He said the culture of transparency and merit has been promoted and our development plans are the uppermost masterpiece of transparency, quality and speed. International institutions are acknowledging the curtail in corruption and increase of transparency in Pakistan, he claimed. Its credit goes to current government as international institutions have also recognized our transparent policies, the PML-N government has revolutionized social sectors and have taken exclusive measures for the development of health, education and other sectors, he said.
He said under the balanced development strategy projects have been completed in under-developed areas on priority basis. The completion of the development projects of South Punjab is our utmost priority and billions of rupees are being made for its progress.
He said modern medical devices have been provided in the hospitals across the province likewise State of the Art Burn Unit is set up in Multan. People are benefiting from Metro bus service in Multan. Construction of two-way road from Muzaffargarh to Dera Ghazi Khan worth billion rupees is going on rapidly also two-way road from the Khanwal to Lodharan is moving forward smoothly.
CM said that our every step is for the welfare of the people and concrete programs are being implemented for enhancing quality of life and living standard of common man. No one can question the transparency of development projects, he claimed and said that those who raise hollow slogans and are habitual of U-Turn have fled to mountains when Dengue attacked the province.
The Chief Minister said that people will hold accountable those who have plundered national resources ruthlessly in the upcoming elections; we will establish new records of public service throughout the country after winning elections of 2018.
He said the stories of corruption and plundering of former rulers is well known to every young and old. If these elements may not be involved in the negative politics for their vested interests, many projects have been completed timely. Orange Line Metro Train Project was also a prey of their adversaries.
He vowed that despite the hurdle created by opponents, we will keep striving for betterment by moving forward on the journey of development with determination and welfare program will be further enhanced by fair distribution of resources and bridging the gap between rich and the poor.
