Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has constituted a "Standing Council on Climate Change" to ensure implementation of National Climate Change Policy and its Framework. The committee would be headed by Dr Pervez Hassan with advocate general of Punjab, secretary climate change ministry, chairman planning and development department, CEO and National Program Director of LEAD Pakistan and environmental expert Saima Amin Khwaja.
