President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira has warned Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif of exposing his corruption in February 5 public rally to be held in the city. He alleged that Shahbaz Sharif has embezzled funds out of metro bus project. The public will not forgive him for making false promises of ending load shedding. "I will expose mega corruption of Shahbaz Sharif in February 5 public rally."
PPP is all set to hold a public rally at Mochi Gate to mark Kashmir Day on February 5. Addressing a corner meeting of party workers, Kaira said the PPP leadership would respond to Indian Prime Minister Modi in a befitting manner on February 5. We will also express solidarity with Kashmiri freedom fighters, he added. He said PPP would also expose the 'friend of Modi', ie, former premier Nawaz Sharif. He criticized Nawaz for abusing army and judiciary, saying that he should be ready to face court proceedings on his corruption beyond Panama. He said the court has already sentenced him for corruption of billions of rupees. "Gone are the times when Nawaz Sharif was supposed to carrying court verdicts in his pocket," he added. He said it is an irony that one brother is abusing while the other one is praising the courts.
He expressed the hope that Zardari would again be in power soon. He said Zardari can finish PML-N governments in other assemblies like Balochistan.
