Turkmenistan FM arrives

Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov arrived here Monday on a two-day visit for talks with Pakistani leaderships on bilateral relations and regional issues. Foreign Minister Meredov is accompanied by a high-level delegation on the invitation of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif.
During his stay, the foreign ministers of the two countries will lead their respective sides to the inaugural session of Pakistan-Turkmenistan Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC). "Pakistan and Turkmenistan traditionally enjoy close cordial relations marked by trust and understanding. Bilateral collaboration in different sectors has been growing steadily," Foreign Office said in a statement.
