Some senior officers of Pakistan Railways have been changed with immediate effect, revealed a notification of Railways Ministry. The notification stated, "Muhammad Aftab Akbar, a BS-22 officer of Railways (Commercial & Transportation Group) presently working as Secretary Railway Board (BS-22), Ministry of Railways, Railway Board Islamabad and holding additional charge as managing director Pakistan Railways Advisory and Consultancy Services (PRACS) Rawalpindi, is posted as managing director/PRACS, Rawalpindi on regular basis with the approval of the competent authority.
Zubair Shafi Ghauri, a BS-20 officer of Railways (Commercial & Transportation Group), presently working as managing director REDAMCO (Railway Estate Development & Marketing Company Pvt Ltd), Rawalpindi, is entrusted to look after the post of secretary Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Railway Board Islamabad, in his own pay & scale in addition to his own duties. This is issued with the approval of secretary railways."
