The bodies of four persons of traffic incident a day before were recovered on Friday from the river Panjkora after hectic efforts of the locals while search for another missing person continues. According to details a non-custom paid (NCP) vehicle of the Islamic preachers was on way back from 'Sahibabad Tablighee Markaz' plunged into river Panjkora due to over-speeding at Dislawar locality on main Dir-Timergara road in the limits of Sahibabad police station.
As a result all the five persons, driver and passengers, in the car drowned in the deep water of the river along with their car. After the incident, the locals started patrolling both the banks of the river to recover the dead bodies. The locals used loudspeakers to make announcements in this regard.
On late Thursday one of the bodies of Suliman son of Faqer Gul a resident of Khall was recovered while three of the dead bodies were retrieved on Friday. The bodies recovered included Johar Khan son of Nadar Khan, Mehran Khan son of Gul said and Saeed Rehman son of Fazal Rehman while search for the body of Abdullah son of Abdur Rehman a resident of Baroon continues. According to the locals all the deceased were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyards. It is reported that the area is grief-stricken and an environment of melancholy prevails in the vicinity as all the deceased belonged to the same vicinity of Khall in Lower Dir.
