The country's total liquid foreign reserves decreased by $224 million to $22.050 billion during the week ended March 17, 2017. According to State Bank of Pakistan report issued on Friday, the foreign reserves held by the SBP decreased by $278 million to $16.961 billion on account of external debt servicing. However, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks increased by $53 million to $5.089 billion during this week.
