The President of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Sindh and senior provincial minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that it is responsibility of IRSA to fairly distribute water in the country, but right now WAPDA is interfering in the distribution of water, and WAPDA at the moment means PML-N. This he said while talking to media at Laghari House in Hyderabad on Friday.
Khuhro said that it has been tradition of PML-N to run the country on undemocratic norms, but PPP won't allow them to carry on with it anymore, and if PML-N carries on the governing in same fashion than people would come out on roads and agitate. "PPP wants to save this country, democracy and the people, we won't ever tolerate a government with lawlessness, and PPP has always agitated against such governments. Panama scandal is directly related to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and not with democracy, PPP removed its prime minister during government when issues surfaced, but PML-N is not ready to remove its prime minister," he added. Nisar said that HESCO and SEPCO have burdened people of Sindh by issuing heavy electricity bills, while the minister of WAPDA calls people of Sindh thieves whenever he comes to Sindh, this is against ethics.
