Bishop of Pakistan, Nazir Alam along with several followers joined Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) and vowed for joint efforts for development of the country. In a ceremony held here on Thursday, Bishop of Pakistan, Nazir Alam and his dozens of followers announced to join the JUI-F. Speaking on the occasion, Bishop Nazir Alam, expressing trust in the leadership of party chief, Maulana Fazalur Rehman, reiterated to work jointly for development and progress of the country.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman welcoming the Bishop Nazir Alam in the party termed his joining as good omen. He hoped that the new comers would spare no efforts for fulfilling the party's agenda of the serving the masses and resolving problems faced by country and masses as well.
