The Bank of Punjab (BoP) Polo Cup 2017 will roll into action here at the Lahore Polo Club ground from Tuesday (today). The 8-12 goal event will be participated by three teams including Dollar East/Newage, Total Nutrition and Master Paints (Black).
The inaugural match of the tournament will be contested between Dollar East/Newage and Total Nutrition Tuesday at 4:30 pm and the losing team will vie against Master Paints on Wednesday at 4:30 pm while the winning team of the opening match will play against Master Paints on Friday at 4:30pm. The finals will be played on Sunday.
Lahore Polo Club secretary Colonel Shoaib Aftab (R) has said that the way the National Open Polo event was organised in a successful manner, it speaks volume about the increasing popularity of the game of kings. "With the successful holding of the National Open Polo, the polo enthusiasts are now eager to witness more polo activity, and Bank of Punjab Polo Cup will provide them opportunities to enjoy enthralling and interesting polo contests throughout the week," he said.
